Current figures, up to date transactions, and the ability to transfer funds with a few clicks of the mouse is easy and necessary for both personal and business banking. So why are there still people out there not taking advantage of online banking and all of the wonderful tools it can offer? Many people are still concerned with reliability and security. Some people feel like they lack the skills necessary to hop online and check their balance. Take a look at the infographic below to get some answers to the most common online banking questions.

For men looking for a great wrist watch, which is extremely modern, has the coolest features, and is sold for a pretty good price, considering the great manufacturing done by the Japanese developers, one of the coolest gadgets out there in the watch world is the Tokyo Flash watch. This is an extremely modern watch, which is digitized, and offers LED and LCD displays, allowing you to read the time in several different colors and styles, and allowing you to match the colors which you like best. The design style of this watch is really something different than any other watch you can find on the market today.

It offers a revers LCD display, which allows the wearer to view the time, without having to press a button every time they want to do so. The Tokyo Flash negative watch gets the name from the fact that it offers the “always on” feature, inverse LCD display. THis will allow the wearer of the watch to use the oversized black dot matrix pixels, to see the time of day, the day of the week, and the date, whenever they want, without having to scroll through several buttons and settings until they reach the right screen.

The watch also features a multi color LED back light, which allows the user to quickly flip from one of the seven different colors which are available on the watch, to find the one which they are in the mood for. So, whether you just like the latest in trends, or are trying to match your outfit of the day, or, just want a new color for every day of the week, then you can flip through each of the seven colors, to match your mood, match your style, or just match the day of the week. The watch also features a “frenzy mode,” which will send the display into a creative light show, where it will flash through all the color schemes with the press of one button. So, whether you are just a tech geek who loves the innovative designs, or just really love a creative watch, this is definately one to add to the list for purchase.

The watch also offers the wearer the option to read the time, date and day, either in horizontal or vertical mode, in order to pick the display orientations which they are most comfortable viewing in. There is also a built in alarm so that the wearer can set the time to get up, or any other alarm they may need during the day. The watch is available either in polished silver or a polished black stainless steel finish, and is pretty decent in price, selling at 16,900 yen (which is about $162 US dollars).

So, whether you just love the latest in technology, and love trendy gadgets. Or, whether you love the light show, or the natural and refined display the watch can give you, this is a great men’s watch to consider for your next purchase. If luxury watches are more your gig, check out blum lux watches. They are awesomely affordable, yet stylish luxury watches.

That is, especially for fuel efficient used cars. Most of us consider used cars to be one of the most rapidly depreciating products that we have to buy. But today, compact models of hybrid vehicles with high mpg are costing used car buyers almost as much as new versions of the same car would these days. For example, the Honda Civic, Chevrolet Aveo LS, and Ford Focus have all had increasing Kelly Blue Book values since January of this year, and significant increases too, with the 2008 Honda Civic costing about $3,000 more to the Ford Focus of the same year upping its price by over $5,000 from 2009.

This anti-depreciating car phenomena breaks down to basic supply and demand principles. In 2008 and 2009, new-car sales plummeted, causing there to be a shortage in 2008 and 2009 used car models for re-sale. With the popularity of 2 and 3 year old fuel-efficient models climbing and the rate of depreciation on these used cars falling, new models are selling for well above their ticket prices, which is deterring even more car shoppers from buying new and transferring them to an already overly popular used car market. As used cars are widely considered more affordable than new ones, and fuel efficiency and flexibility is becoming more and more of a central consumer concern, the demand for hybrids and vehicles in the 30-40 mpg range has exploded. Furthermore, due to the recent credit crisis that led to sharp cutbacks on leasing, a large portion of customers who previously leased or would have preferred to lease are having to switch to the buyers market, causing an even greater demand pull on a limited used car sales market.

The popularity of Japanese cars in the United States has also increased used car lot visitors, as the earthquake and tsunami in Japan back in March halted new vehicle production. For now, those who prefer Japanese models can only look in used car sales lots for their asian engine fix, yet another factor contributing to the increase in value of used cars, especially since most Japanese models are also very fuel efficient.

Even though Hybrids were offered at huge discounts last year when fuel prices were stable, the current spike at the pump and political turmoil over oil production and crude reserves (Libyan crude oil production has halted and the U.S. has supplied half of a 60 million barrel relief fund being dumped on the market over the next 30 days) has caused a new spike in the popularity of hybrid cars. But with the discounts and difficulty selling hybrid cars last year, manufacturers did not produce as many this time around, again sending some who might have bought a new hybrid instead to used car dealers.

Whatever the reason, Americans seem to be finally loosening their grip on big SUVs and overpriced luxury gas guzzlers. The economic slump has probably made people look more closely at their budget and their ecological footprint rather than status and convenience. In the end, with the used car market supply not expanding anytime this year, it looks like new car dealers need to find a new way to market their fuel efficient cars in a way that can compete (relatively) with used compact cars.

Dean Roberts, a laid off factory worker and former satellite tv provider installer, was lulled into a for-profit university with promises of a career at the completion of his degree.

“They told me that I would have a job within 6 weeks of graduation,” he said. “They lied. I did everything I was supposed to do. I got good grades, worked hard, and here I am, 6 months after graduation, with $60,000 in student loans and no way to pay them back. I’m 40 years old, and I owe the government a whole lot of money that I can’t pay back.”

Mr. Robert’s isn’t alone. Recently, online universities have come under fire by the government for aggressive sales tactics, shady financial aid processes, and false promises to their students.

While some of these universities make good on their promises, it is always important to be aware of the potential dangers these universities as the consumer. After all, when it’s all said and done, you will owe back the student loans, not the university.

If you are considering an education at a for-profit university, here are things you need to be aware of:

The Aren’t Called “For-Profit” for Nothing

These colleges, many of which are online, are selling education in order to make money for their shareholders. Don’t forget that. You may experience pressure sales tactics by admission advisors. It’s important that you slow the process down, and take your time to decide if their university is truly the right place for you. Research their university. Research other universities. Compare notes. Compare prices.

Check the Accreditation of the School

First of all, if the university you are considering is not accredited at all, run. Run far, far away. You’re going to spend a lot of money for a diploma that may not get you where you want to go in life.

There are two types of accreditation: regional and national. Let’s break those down:

Regional

Regional accreditation is the better of the two. It is the highest accreditation a university can have. All public universities like, University of Florida or community colleges, have regional accreditation. This accreditation is extremely important if you ever want to transfer credits or continue into a master’s degree program. While being regionally accredited doesn’t guarantee credit transfer, it is easier to transfer credits between regionally accredited colleges.

National

National accreditation is typically the accreditation that trade schools offer. For example, universities that offer auto mechanics, dental hygiene, and paralegal degrees are often, but not always, nationally accredited. If you chose to attend one of these schools, be aware that your credits will not be accepted as transfer credits into most regionally accredited universities. This is going to hinder you in using your credits to achieve a bachelor’s degree, or even continuing into a master’s degree program.

You Will Pay for the Convenience

For-profit universities tend to be extremely expensive. For some, the cost is worth it because of the convenience of attending school online. Some of these schools do have great programs, and it may be worth it for you, but just be aware that you are going to spend a lot of money. Research all of your options very carefully, and always be very aware of how much money you are borrowing. You don’t want to get to the end of your degree and realize you owe way more than you thought.
