My dear friend, who works at a bank, called me the other day laughing her head off. She said, “The bank just got robbed.”

“Kate,” I said, “This isn’t funny?! Is everyone okay?!

Unstoppable laughter ensued on the other line. Finally, a break and laughter and a response, “He wanted $5.” She said and then continued to laugh.

It took a good 10 minutes to get her to stop laughing, but once she calmed down, she explained that a very drunk man stumbled into the bank at around 1pm. He started doing a strip tease in the middle of the bank, and then demanded that everyone watching give him $5.
