If you’re anything like us, watching the news the past couple of days has us wondering: “What the heck happened to our economy?”

It’s hard for the average American to understand the financial crisis of our nation. We found this great Vimeo video that does a great job explaining why we are in such a crisis financially. After watching this video, you’ll have a better understanding of why we are in such a rut.

After watching this video, take a few minutes to think about what you can do to be a more financially responsible citizen. It’s important to borrow responsibly and always make sure you can pay back what you borrow. Also, remember that even though life feels like a race of keeping up with the Jonses (or Kardashians…), it’s okay not to have everything your little heart desires.
